Two arrests made after €200,000 in cash seized in Dublin

Gardaí have seized €200,000 in cash following a stop-and-search in west Dublin. The vehicle, where the cash was found, was stopped on the M4 motorway at approximately 7:30am this morning.

Two men, aged 24 and 47, were arrested following the search which was part of an operation into serious organised criminal activity.

Both men are being detained at Lucan Garda Station for money laundering offences.
