US Presidential election neck-and-neck as swing-state counting continues

The US Presidential election is currently neck-and-neck. Biden currently has 224 electoral votes, to Trump’s 213.

Key wing state counting in Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia and Pennsylvania is still underway, which will prove to be pivotal in the final results.

Most states will have a preliminary result by the end of today, however, it is likely Pennsylvania’s vote, which is Biden’s home state, but one that President Trump is currently winning, will take days to finalise.

Due to the high presence of mail-in votes in this years election, it is likely to take some time to establish a finalised result for the nation.

Trump has already claimed victory over the election, saying he will go to the Supreme Court.

Biden has said it will take some time for all votes to be counted and urged the necessity for every vote to be counted.
