COVID-19: 444 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 444 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Eight further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

61% of cases reported today are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 158 in Dublin, 48 in Cork, 36 in Galway, 28 in Limerick and 174 cases spread across 19 other counties.
