Man dead following kitesurfing incident at Dublin beach

A man, aged in his 30s, has died following a kitesurfing incident in Dublin.

The incident occurred at Dollymount Strand at approximately 9am this morning where the man got into difficulty in the water.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to the Mater Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place.
