COVID-19: 720 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 720 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Five further people who have been diagnosed with the virus have also died.

65% of todays cases are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 228 in Dublin, 130 in Cork, 47 in Galway, 31 in Meath, 27 in Limerick and the remaining 257 cases are spread across another 20 counties.
