Three dead following shooting at Cork farm

A father and two sons have died following a shooting incident at a farm in Co Cork.

The incident happened at a farmhouse outside Kanturk in the north of the county. 

The Garda Technical Bureau are en route from Dublin, and the services of the Assistant State Pathologist Dr Margot Bolster have been sought

The body of one of the sons, in his 20s, was found in a bedroom of the house.

The bodies of his brother, also in his 20s, and father, in his late 50s, were found in a field up to half a kilometre away.

All three men had gunshot wounds.

Gardaí say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at this time.
