Polish president ‘Andrzej Duda’ tests positive for Covid-19

Polish president ‘Andrzej Duda’ has tested positive for Covid-19 according to his spokesperson ‘Blazej Spychalski’, who announced the news on Twitter.

The president, who took a test on Friday, stated that he feels well. This follows a surge in the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases and deaths in Poland that have been putting a strain on the country’s health system.

According to doctors, patients are not only dying from Covid-19, but from other illness that overwhelmed hospitals are unable to treat.
