COVID-19: 859 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 859 new cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Four further people diagnosed with the virus have died.

62% of cases reported today are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 192 are in Dublin, 148 in Cork, 58 in Donegal, 55 in Galway, and 54 are in Meath, with the other 352 cases spread across the remaining 21 counties.
