Remnants of Hurricane Epsilon to hit Irish shores next week

As Met √Čireann issues three separate weather warnings for the weekend, remnants of Hurricane Epsilon are to hit Irish shores next week.

This will bring heavy showers and strong gusty winds as well as thundery rain and possibly hail.

Three separate wind and rainfall warnings have also been issued for Galway, Donegal, Mayo, Waterford, Clare, Kerry, Cork and Wexford over the weekend.

A Status Yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Galway and Mayo which will come into effect from 9pm tonight until 9am tomorrow.

A Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Donegal, Mayo, Galway, Clare and Kerry which will come into effect from 10pm tonight until 7am tomorrow.

A second Status Yellow wind warning has been issued for Wexford, Cork and Waterford which will come into effect from 11pm tonight until 10am tomorrow.
