COVID-19: 777 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 777 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Seven further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

66% of cases have been identified as community transmission.

The county breakdown is as follows: 182 cases are in Dublin, 81 are in Galway, 44 are in Wexford, 42 are in Meath, 41 are in Cork and the remaining 387 cases are spread across 21 remaining counties
