Gardaí make two arrests following 10 burglaries involving shops, petrol stations and post offices across four counties

Gardaí have arrested two men, aged in their 20s and 30s, in relation to ten burglaries that took place at shops, petrol stations and post offices across counties Limerick, Tipperary and Cork.

The burglaries, which occurred over the last number of months, lead to the robbery of cash, cigarettes and safes.

The two men are being detained at Tipperary Town and Nenagh Garda Stations.

Following the arrests, gardaí seized a car that they believe to have been used during the burglaries which is currently under examination.
