COVID-19: 1,269 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 1,269 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

A further 13 people have died in relation to the virus.

63% of today’s cases are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 221 cases are in Meath, 203 are in Dublin, 116 are in Cork, 80 are in Cavan and the remaining 649 are spread across all remaining counties.
