Teenager in serious condition following Carlow stabbing

A 16-year-old is being treated at St Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny for serious injuries that he sustained following a stabbing incident that took place in Carlow town earlier this morning.

Another teenager was arrested following the incident, which occurred at a house located in the Fairways estate on the Dublin Road at approximately 4am.

The 16-year-old victim managed to call emergency services by himself after leaving the house following the incident.

The teenager that was arrested by gardaĆ­ is currently being detained at Carlow Garda Station.
