COVID-19: 1,031 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 1,031 new cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

70% of cases are under 45-years-old.

No further people diagnosed with the virus have died.

The county breakdown is as follows: 235 in Dublin, 232 in Cork, 60 in Galway, 47 in Limerick, 47 in Kerry, and the remaining cases spread across the remaining counties.
