COVID-19: 1,283 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 1,283 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Three further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

68% of the cases are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 408 are in Dublin, 156 in Cork, 88 in Kildare, 80 in Meath, 55 in Limerick and the remaining 496 cases are spread across 21 counties.
