Gardaí arrest man following stabbing in Dublin

A man in his 20s has been arrested by gardaí in relation to a stabbing that occurred in Ballyfermot last Friday afternoon.

Gardaí received reports of an injured man, also aged in his 20s, in the Kylemore Road area at approximately 5:20pm.

The injuries that the man sustained were non-life threatening.

Gardaí arrested the suspect at the scene after they observed a man armed with a knife in the garden of a premises.

He has since been charged in relation to the incident and is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice on Saturday morning.
