COVID-19: 1,205 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 1,205 new cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

A further three people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

71% of cases are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 288 cases are in Dublin, 173 are in Cork, 123 are in Meath, 97 are in Galway, 63 are in Cavan and the remaining 461 cases are spread across all remaining counties.
