COVID-19: 1,095 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 1,905 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Five further people diagnosed with the virus have died.

70% of cases are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 246 cases in Dublin, 185 in Meath, 128 in Cavan, 118 in Cork, 63 in Kildare and the remaining 342 cases are spread across all remaining counties.
