COVID-19: 825 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 825 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

One further person diagnosed with the virus has also died.

78% of cases are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 254 cases are in Dublin, 147 are in Cork, 39 are in Cavan, 28 are in Donegal, 37 are in Kildare, and the remaining 310 cases are spread across the 20 remaining counties.
