COVID-19: 814 new confirmed cases in Ireland

Health officials have confirmed a further 814 cases of Covid-19 in Ireland.

Two further people diagnosed with the virus have also died.

70% of cases are under 45-years-old.

The county breakdown is as follows: 226 in Dublin, 77 in Cork, 64 in Galway, 56 in Donegal, 48 in Meath and the remaining 343 cases are spread across all remaining counties.
