Man dead following truck crash in Meath

Gardaí are investigating a single-vehicle truck crash that occurred in Meath this afternoon where a man in his 50s, the driver of the truck, died.

The incident occurred in Ratoath on the R155 this afternoon.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where he was pronounced dead.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam footage to contact Ashbourne Garda Station at 018 010 600, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
