Gardaí intervene as demonstrators clash outside the Dáil

Protestors and counter-protestors clashed today outside the Dáil following the Let Ireland Live rally that was organised by the National Party outside the Dáil.

Before it was scheduled to begin at 1pm, a group of approximately 100 counter-protestors tried to remove crowd barriers to confront the National Party, who were demonstrating against Covid-19 restrictions.

Gardaí managed to separate the two sides following the counter-protests.
