Government reject NPHET advice on Level 5 lockdown

The government has rejected the NPHET’s advice on moving the entire country into Level 5 of the Living With Covid Plan.

Instead of Level 5, the government will adopt Level 3 lockdown restrictions nationwide.

Along with the restrictions will come improved enforcement to ensure regulations are not being breached.

No indoor seating will be permitted in pubs, and a maximum of 15 patrons will be allowed outdoors. Wet pubs in Dublin will continue to remain closed.
