Government’s plan on international travel to be published by 13th of October

Minister for Transport ‘Eamon Ryan’ has stated that the government will have a plan on international travel ready by the 13th of October.

Last month, a travel plan was announced by the EU where a traffic light system would be used to create common thresholds for EU member states for deciding when travel restrictions should be introduced.

The government’s plan is set to align with that of the EU.

Eamon Ryan added that he will be meeting with health and transport officials tomorrow where the system of Covid-19 testing in airports will be discussed.
