Former RTÉ producer ‘Kieran Creaven’ has appeared in court after being charged with 17 child sex abuse offences.
He was brought before Dublin District Court after being arrested at his home in Dun Laoghaire at approximately 8:15am this morning.
His charges are as follows:
Two counts of sexual assault of a child outside the state in 2014, three child sexual exploitation charges outside the state in 2014, three child sexual exploitation charges in Ireland in 2017, five counts of being in possession of child pornography, four counts involving the use of IT and communication technology for the purpose of facilitating child sexual exploitation inside and outside the state in 2017.
Kieran was granted bail and remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court on the 10th of October.
