In what the PSNI have described as a ‘paramilitary-style attack’, a man has been shot in his arms and legs after being attacked by a gang in Antrim last night.
The incident took place at approximately 10:20pm in Stranocum where a gang of three forced their way into a house and shot the man.
Inspector Stephen McCafferty stated “We are treating this brutal shooting as a paramilitary-style attack. This is despicable and should not happen in a civilised society.”
Anyone with information in relation to the incident is asked to call detectives on 101 quoting reference number 2308 of 19/09/2020.
