An investigation is underway by gardaà after a cyclist was killed following a road collision that took place in Dublin at approximately 11:45am this morning.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene after colliding with a car on the R108 in St Margaret’s, which is located close to Dublin Airport.
The driver of the car was treated at the scene with non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaà are appealing to anyone with information, in particular dash-cam footage of the incident, to contact Dublin Airport Garda Station at 01 666 4950, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
