Motorists have been advised to avoid the M50 motorway following a van fire on the northbound lane.
Smoke from the blaze, which broke out between Junction 6 Blanchardstown and Junction 5 Finglas, is affecting visibility and causing heavy traffic build-ups on both ways of the motorway, so gardaà are advising motorists to use alternative routes if possible.
No injuries have been reported and the fire has been extinguished by Dublin Fire Brigade but delays still remain in place.
