Gardaí are investigating an incident that took place near Moycullen, Co Galway at approximately 10pm last night where a man in his 50s was killed following a single-vehicle car crash.
The man, who was the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident, which took place on the L1313 at Gortchalla.
His body has been taken to the mortuary at University Hospital Galway.
