Katie Taylor beats Delfine Persoon for the second time following rematch

What many felt was an undeserved win last June when Katie Taylor beat Delfine Persoon have been proved wrong following yesterday’s rematch.

Delfine Persoon was once again beaten by Katie Taylor but was more accepting this time of who deserved to win stating “This time I accept she deserves to win. I have no problem with this”.

The Belgian fighter laughed when asked about a third rematch and replied that she was willing to accept the win.

Katie Taylor is now 16-0 and still remains undefeated in boxing.

Katie stated “I knew it was going to be a tough night as she is relentless,” she added “I stuck to my boxing a bit more and that got me the win in the end”.
