Investigation underway after Irishwoman is found dead in Spanish hotel room

An investigation into the death of an Irishwoman in Spain is underway.

The woman, aged 23, was found dead on Thursday in her room at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel located in San Antonio.

She has been locally named as Amy Elizabeth Connor, believed to be from Northern Ireland, and was part of a group of holidaymakers.

Police have stated that they are unable to make a comment on the report and that more would be known after an autopsy.

A source from the Civil Guard stated that “There were no external signs of violence on the dead woman’s body or signs of any violence at the scene”.
