Status yellow thunder and rain warning issued for Ireland

Met Éireann has issued two Status Yellow warnings for rain and thunder over much of the midlands, west and south.

The Status Yellow thunder warning will be in place from 1pm until 9pm for Munster, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Galway, Mayo and Roscommon.

A rainfall warning is operation for Wexford, Cork and Waterford, and the warning is in place until 6am tomorrow morning.
