COVID-19: 200 confirmed cases and no deaths reported today

The Department of Health has confirmed 200 new cases of Covid-19 in the country today.

In Dublin, 58 cases were confirmed, 81 in Kildare, 13 in Tipperary, eight in Limerick, six in Laois, six in Galway, five in Kilkenny and five in Meath.

The remaining 20 cases were in Carlow, Cork, Donegal, Clare, Louth, Mayo Offaly, Roscommon, Waterford and Wicklow.

Acting Chief Medical Officer ‘Dr Ronan Glynn’ stated that “This is the largest number of cases in a single day since the beginning of May”.
