Investigation underway after car is set on fire in Balbriggan

An investigation has been launched by gardaí after a car was set on fire in Balbriggan, Dublin yesterday.

The incident, which occurred in the Brenmore Court area of Balbriggan, took place at approximately 5:55pm.

Gardaí and Dublin Fire Brigade responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported following the incident.

During the week, another incident occurred in Balbriggan where video footage shows gangs of youths fighting in the area after a house was set on fire.

At this point, gardaí do not believe that the incidents are linked.
