Ten suspected stolen dogs have been recovered in Limerick

Following a search operation in Limerick, ten dogs that are believed to have been stolen have been recovered by gardaĆ­.

The search took place at a property in Rathkeale on Saturday evening where a small quantity of suspected cannabis was also seized.

The dogs included Labradors, Springer Spaniels and Huskies, none of which had licences or proper identification papers.

They care currently being looked after at a local animal shelter.

GardaĆ­ are appealing for help in reuniting the dogs with their owners as one of the dogs that was stolen from the Dromcollogher area on the 9th of June has been reunited.

No arrests have been made yet.
