Investigation underway after two men die following a car crash in west Cork

Two men have died following a single-vehicle car crash that occurred on the Kenmare Road near Glengarriff in west Cork this morning.

This incident took place at approximately 5:30am this morning.

One of the other occupants of the vehicle was airlifted to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.

The fourth occupant of the vehicle was uninjured.

A man in his 40s and a man in his late teens were pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage that were travelling in the area at the time of the incident to contact them.
