Donald Trump claims he will ban Chinese app ‘TikTok’ in the US

US President Donald Trump said he will take action as early as today to ban the Chinese application ‘TikTok’.

He stated, “As far as TikTok is concerned, we’re banning them from the United States.”

The Chinese app has been the source of national security and censorship concerns, and yesterday President Trump said the order is going to be signed tomorrow.

US and China relations have been rapidly escalating in recent months, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic emerged.
