A Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for Cork and Kerry

Met Éireann have issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Cork and Kerry.

Heavy rain is to be expected which will lead to accumulations of 20mm to 50mm in certain areas.

Status Yellow Rain Warning issued for Cork and Kerry. Valid from 0900 this morning to 0700 on Thursday.

Met Éireann have also warned that spot flooding will be an issue in certain areas.

The warning will remain in affect until 7am.
