Two dead following separate road crashes in Meath and Kerry

Two men are dead following separate road crashes that took place in Meath and Kerry last night.

A man in his 20s, who was the passenger of a van, was killed following a single-vehicle road crash near Kells, Co Meath.

He was pronounced dead after being hospitalised at Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan.

The driver of the van is being treated for serious injuries at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

A man in his 60s was killed in a single-vehicle car crash in Castleisland, Co Kerry.

The man, who was the sole occupant of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam footage of either incident to contact them.
