Alleged Islamic State member ‘Lisa Smith’ faces additional charge for financing terrorism

Alleged member of Islamic State ‘Lisa Smith’ is now facing an additional charge of financing terrorism.

The 38-year-old came to Dublin District Court today for service of the book of evidence.

Her additional charge relates to the transfer of €800 in assistance through a Western Union account in 2015.

She made no reply to the charge.

The book of evidence was not served as Ms Smith’s independent surety was not present.

Her solicitor stated that he would have it next week.
