Government establishes travel ‘green list’ containing 15 countries following Cabinet meeting

The Government has finalised a ‘green list’ of countries from which people can travel without having to restrict their movements upon arriving in Ireland.

Cabinet established and agreed on the list following a late night meeting, with the final report being finalised at midnight last night.

The safer destinations include;

Cyprus
Malta
Finland
Norway
Italy
Hungary
Estonia
Latvia
Lithuania
Slovakia
Greece
Gibraltar
Greenland
Monaco
San Marino

Although the list has been published, the public health advice remains to avoid international travel, unless it is absolutely necessary.
