Building site in Dublin city centre has been shut down as workers test positive for Covid-19

A building site in Dublin city centre, which is being operated by John Paul Construction, has been temporarily shut down after a number of workers tested positive for Covid-19.

The site, located on Townsend Street, will see the construction of a hotel and apartments.

It is understood that the HSE requested the shut down.

Of the 200 workers, it has not been disclosed how many of them tested positive.
