Publication of Ireland’s international travel ‘green list’ delayed

The ‘green list’ of safer countries to travel to and from was due to be published by government today (Monday.

Cabinet’s meeting was due to take place today to finalise the list, however, Taoiseach Micheál Martin is still in Brussels, where an EU summit is taking place and extending longer than anticpated.

A ‘green list’ will detail the countries that Irish people can travel to without having to restrict their movements for 14 days afterwards when they return to Ireland.

It is currently unclear when the list will now be published, but it is expected to be very soon.
