Face coverings have now become compulsory in France from today

From today, face coverings will be compulsory in any enclosed public space in France.

This includes shops, banks and covered markets.

This ruling came into effect from the fears of a second wave of Covid-19 as there have been localised flare-ups throughout the nation.

Anyone who violates the rule is liable to pay a €135 fine.
