Trump administration could consider banning TikTok and other Chinese apps in the US

According to Secretary of State ‘Mike Pompeo’, the US government could consider banning TikTok and other Chinese phone apps.

Pompeo stated that anyone who uses TikTok will have their “private information in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party”.

TikTok responded to this statement with “TikTok is led by an American CEO, with hundreds of employees and key leaders across safety, security, product and public policy here in the U.S.”.
