Brazilian President ‘Jair Bolsonaro’ has tested positive for Covid-19

The President of Brazil ‘Jair Bolsonaro’ has announced that he has tested positive for Covid-19.

He confirmed the news in the country’s capital stating “I’m well, normal. I even want to take a walk around here, but I can’t due to medical recommendations,”.

Bolsonaro has vetoed articles that require employers to supply face masks to staff, as well as another article mandating that public authorities provide face coverings for “economically vulnerable people”.

Bolsonaro has now vetoed articles that require face masks to be worn in prison and another article that requires businesses to provide information on the proper way to wear a face mask.
