Investigation underway following house fire this morning in Dundalk

Gardaí are investigating a fire that broke out at a house this morning in Clontygora Court, Dundalk.

According to residents, a loud bang was heard before the building caught alight.

It is suspected by local officials that the fire was caused by an arson attack.

The five occupants of the house have been hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries.

A technical examination is underway.
