MMA trainer ‘Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov’ dies aged 57 following complications caused by Covid-19

MMA trainer and the father of UFC star ‘Khabib Nurmagomedov’ has died aged 57 following complications caused by Covid-19.

Abdulmanap was admitted to hospital in May after suffering from a heart attack and pneumonia which was brought on by Covid-19.

It was reported that towards the end of June that Abdulmanap has woken from a coma and was responsive.

Khabib stated that “the virus has had consequences for his kidneys and his heart”.

Many tributes are being paid towards the legendary trainer.
