Serious criticism over lack of western Cabinet members in new government

The new trio government, consisting of Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and the Green Party, announced their Cabinet positions yesterday.

Green Party Leader Eamon Ryan has said he does not believe the Government is ignoring the west of the country when it comes to ministerial appoints.

However, there is concern over the lack of west-based Cabinet members within the new government.
