A Status Orange rainfall warning has been issued for Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo.
Spot flooding and river flooding has been predicted for the three counties with 50-60mm of rain.
The warning will remain in effect until 12pm tomorrow.
Lowland areas have been warned that the weather could cause up to 6cm of flooding.
